The Beach Villa
El Gouna
We made use of neutral, light colors with some shades of blue and combined them with earthy tones and textures to capture the beach nature.
A simple rectangular skylight was added in the middle zone between the living and the dining area to allow the soft natural light to flood throughout the reception bringing the outside in, maximizing the space and improving the mood.
Faux wood beams were installed in a dark shade to contrast the white ceiling for an immediate & bold impact, not to mention the warmth and earthiness they bring to the entire scheme.
ENTRYWAY
The original design didn’t include an entrance so we created one by implementing a large arch from one side and wooden posts from the other side to define the space of the entryway.
It is such a successful addition as it is well connected and cohesive with the rest of the house.
DINING ROOM
Using a group of leveled rattan lighting fixtures highlighted the dining zone. Always, adding a touch of green brightens the space.
A recessed wooden arch was made in the wall with 2 golden wall sconces installed on both sides to highlight the big art piece which was well chosen to match the marine atmosphere.
Bedroom
A wooden arch with a recessed cane wall cladding and a composition of clay plates combined together to create this beautiful focal wall of the master bedroom.
Playing with natural materials like wood, clay, cane, marble together with gold metal accents was a main factor in creating interest in the space.
We changed the dimensions of the window to fit this cozy seating spot with the amazing sea view.
